PR card renewal questions

Hi folks,

I mailed my PR card renewal application by Canada Post 3 weeks ago.

I checked the status online, but the online system can't find my application.
Is there any way to check if the CIC received my application or not?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Assume you did not use the tracking option then just normal mail ?

Hi yes, I sent by regular mail. Thought they would email me once received my application.

Just want to ask, one would received a confirmation email right after the receive of the application if using Xpress mail?

They do not send you an email as soon as it physically arrives the centre. Usually takes a month or more before they send an acknowledgment email that they received your application.
