Pr card renewal processing time

I have submitted pr card renewal application online on Sep 18. It has been more than 2 months and it still shows submitted. How long it takes for the renewal. I have to travel outside Canada in January. Worried as they are taking long. What can be done to get the pr card faster.

We are in the same boat. Submitted online application on CIC on Oct 5th but the status hasn't been updated since. It's been 2 months now.
Moreover on

the application is not found, so we are getting concerned.

We did not receive any confirmation email after submitting the application on CIC website.

Try to login with an account credentials which you have created when applied online. It will be your email address and password. It will be able to check the status through above link only iff your file is in process
