I left Canada immediately after completing landing formalities in April 2018. Couldn’t travel back because of personal reasons and covid. Am I eligible to renew PR card in 2023 if I move back before April 2021 and complete 2 years of stay in Canada? My PR expiration date is May 2023.

Would strongly encourage you to move a bit earlier. We see lots of examples of people moving at the last minute and then end up in trouble when there is a family emergency or they need to travel for their job, etc. You also must be compliant with your RO to sponsor anyone.
