PR Card - My name lacks the last letter

Dear all,

I just received my PR card this week and they have omitted the last letter of my middle name: It reads Panju Mohamed Hassnai instead of Panju Mohamed HassnaiN. When I did my landing procedure at Montreal in September, I recall that my COPR had Hassnai as well and when I asked the immigration officer, she said that the system had my full name but it did not print it fully!

I am just worried about my PR card not displaying my full middle name, do I need to get my COPR and PR card amended? To complicate things, I am travelling out of Canada on Christmas, I will actually be away from Canada for a while (6-12 months) so I don't want to leave this unresolved before I travel! Thanks!

The system has your complete name, you just have too many letters to fit on the PR Card. A common problem.

Thanks for the quick reply, therefore I do not have to apply to get my PR card "corrected" then and leave it as is? Thanks!
