I suppose you are writing from your wife's account as it says in the signature that you already have citizenship? If you click on her username and find her old posts, you can see that she asked about a year ago about the possibility of sponsoring you and was told that it was not time to think about this if you are not considering moving to Canada at this point.
You do not get a free pass to keep your PR just because your wife has gained citizenship. You do however have a couple of options.
1) If you have not yet officially lost your PR as your PR card has just expired but you have not been reported for not meeting the RO, you have not applied for a travel document nor have you renounced your PR, you have a chance to revive it if your wife now joins you outside Canada and stays with you for 2 years. A PR meets the residency requirements by spending 2 years out of 5 in Canada but time spent accompanying a Canadian citizen spouse outside Canada is also counted. After you have the 2 years, you can apply for a PR travel document, return to Canada and apply to renew your PR card.
2) If your wife is not willing to join you outside Canada in order to revive your PR, you would need to lose your PR first before she can sponsor you. You should apply for a PR travel document. You will be denied and you will lose your PR. You can then apply for a multiple entry TRV in order to visit your family. Your wife can apply to sponsor you for PR again. The sponsorship will however take some time. Aside from that, if you are not yet ready to move to Canada in the next 3 years after you get your new PR, you will have problems with not meeting the RO again. You could delay the sponsorship until you see you might be about to get ready to live in Canada.
