PR Card Approved After Urgent Processing

Hi,

I sent my application for for an urgent PR card renewal on October 30th 2015
CIC received it on November 2nd
CIC started processing it on November 10th

I hadn't seen any progress since then so I decided to call CIC today (December 2nd), I was informed by them that my application had been approved and that the card was sent into publication on November 30th. However, my travel date is December 18th 2015 and the lady told me that it may not reach me on time.

What are my options? Is there anyway of getting the PR card prior to leaving or doing anything to expedite the process?
Also, if I was to leave, would I be guaranteed to get a travel document to return since my PR card has been approved?

You may want to contact your MP office, the staff may able to expedite the process for you

Is there any way to find out whether the PR card will be sent to the local Vancouver office or whether it will be mailed from Sydney directly to my home address in Vancouver?

It'll be mailed to your address listed on ECAS.

Why do you need to contact the Vancouver office? They don't have anything to do with it.
