PR card and health cover for newcomer

My husbnd got the PR Visa last year and our visa will expire on 28 February and we are currently living in UK. We are planning to land in Toronto on 22 february and stay for one week and will return to UK. Finally we want to move to Calgary in July 2010 and permanently settle down there. Now my questions are:

1. Can I apply for our PR card when landing in Toronto and provide them my friends address to post our PR card? Then my friend can post it to UK when receive our PR cards. Do I need to tell the immigration officer we gonna to stay for only one week? If we say we gonna to stay one week can we still apply for PR card?

2. If my friend send our PR cards to UK and lost by post then how can we again get another PR card and travel to Canada?

3. Can we apply for health card as we will stay there for only one week? Do we need to buy any heath insurance for one week?

4. If we finally move to Calgary in july 2010 and expect to deliver baby in Calgary, do we need to buy any health insurance for that time and we have to pay hospital bills for delivering baby? If we apply for health card in Calgary how long it will take to get the health card and start to cover our health care cost?

Yes

You would then have to apply for a travel document at London

No, as you are not proceeding to Alberta where there is no waiting period, but "landing" in Ontario where there is 3 month waiting period. In both you need a permanent address.

4. If we finally move to Calgary in july 2010 and expect to deliver baby in Calgary, do we need to buy any health insurance for that time and we have to pay hospital bills for delivering baby? If we apply for health card in Calgary how long it will take to get the health card and start to cover our health care cost?

1. Travel healthcare insurance maybe taken for that 1 week, if u so desire. No compulsions though.
2. $3,000 + rest in bank statement is perfectly fine. [the statement should be as latest as possible]
