Myself and my common-law-spouse had to leave Canada on short notice due to a family emergency at home (a family member is very sick. The day after we left our PR application was approved. We were told the process would continue and we would get our e-COPR when we return. However since being home my spouse has realized he needs to stay longer with his family member.
Is it possible to return on separate dates/ change his application to outland/ get in contact with IRCC to apply for extenuating circumstances?
