PR applying TRV for spouse, currently staying outside Canada

I'm a landed PR and newly married. Haven't applied for spousal sponsorship yet as I'm outside Canada and we wanted to visit together.

Anyone here applied or applying TRV for spouse while both outside Canada? What are the chances to secure the TRV, anyone on the same boat? Thanks!

Depends on your spouses' proof ties to home country.

I am a PR working in the US on H1B and applied visitor visa for spouse from the US. Got approved. If you are working outside Canada and write an invitation letter requesting for her visitor visa for tourism purpose. I did the same.
