Finally I received my COPR today after a wait of 1.5 years. Thanks all of you for your help and guidance.

congratulations doc.

Hi All! I got ITA on Feb 9, 2017.
Applied on Feb 17
AOR on Feb 18
Medical passed on April 7, and the Background Check showed "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check", and "We do not need additional documents" in the additional documents column.
Now since April 28, the Background Check column is showing "Not Applicable."

Plz guide. Is it normal? How long before I expect a Passport request? Please share your timelines after having received a Not Applicable in background.

I did my PCC work at the Lalbagh PSK at Bengaluru (as that was the permanent address on my passport and I currently work in Mumbai). Took about an hour and a half, tops, very painless experience, just make sure you have all the documents they ask for and also a letter of why you need the PCC (theyre pretty pedantic on this point).

Regarding the letter about why i need a PCC...what letter are you speaking about? you mean an application from me if i m applying for a PCC?

For NDVO, how is the order of application processing? Those who've ordered gcms notes, could you please say? For example, does NDVO process eligibility first or do they process eligibility last? Do they process security last? How does it go for NDVO?

Congrats! Are you a PNP? Cos I see 'nomination' in your timeline.

Majority of the January folk seem to have crossed the line. I am patiently waiting to see movement on Feb FSW/PNP now.

Each day after AOR seems to get longer and longer.
