PR application

I have:
  • International post-graduate BC PNP nomination already
  • A work permit that is valid for more than two years
  • A full time job at the moment
So I'm planning to live/work/travel abroad for about a year and come back at some point after my PR application has been presumably approved (I'm guessing shouldn't take more than a year to be processed, but anyhow I don't mind coming back before it's approved ).

According to this link (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=248&top=28), one may leave Canada while their application is in progress, however, these are explicitly mentioned in a document sent to me called conditions of nomination:
  • If you were nominated under one of the International Post-Graduate categories, you must continue to demonstrate an ability and intent to permanently reside and economically establish in B.C.
  • ... You must inform us ... if "change of employer, job title, work location, or job duties" (although I didn't really need a full time job to be nominated since I was a Intl. post-graduate)
Now I'm planning to leave my job in a month and move to Europe to work/live there for a while. That means I won't be a BC resident for at about 1 year, if not more. But I certainly intend to come back. Would this move threaten my PR application? What are the things I should be worried about or consider?

Thanks.

Yes it will definitely affect your PR as you were nominated under BC Post Graduate PNP. Although you don't need a job offer to maintain your nomination but you do have to show that you are residing in BC while your PR is processing.
