PR application with family

hi to all..

just wanna know how true is it that if you're applying for PR and you included your family, lets say, spouse and/or kids, it will take a little longer for the immigration to approve your residency than filing your own first and to sponsor them when you get your PR approval.

That's not true. In fact, it would take longer if you first applied with them as non-accompanying and then later sponsored them. Also would be more expensive.
