I would like to ask if anyone knows how long it may take to get the PR application processed from the time the medical results had been sent? Also, what requests would I be expecting to receive from the immigration office? I am under the Live-in Caregiver Program and I have sent my PR application last March 2009. I have received my first stage approval last August29 together with my Open Work permit. I have done my medical exam and the doctor's office said that they have sent the result last Oct 8. I am planning to take a month-long vacation (out of the country) on January30 and I am worried that the immigration might request for an interview while I am away.
I have been searching all of the forum topics but I can't find any clear answer or as related to my situation. Hope somebody could give me an advice on this.
