PR Application to be filed from Canada

Hi Friends,
I am looking to apply Permanent Residency under Federal Skilled worker category. I am currently working in Canada and looking to apply PR with same employer. At port of entry the when I was issued Temporary Work Permit it was issued less than a year.

I am looking to file my application at Buffalo office, but I dont satisfy below criteria since my work permit is less than one year in Canada.

I was working in USA for 3 yrs before coming to Canada and I was told by an attorney that even though I have less than 1 yr TWP, my application can be filed in Buffalo considering prior US work experience.

Has someone been in this situation before? Experts please help..

1. If you were still in the US, you could use Buffalo, but since you aren't and have only a 11 months work permit, you visa application would be in your home country.

Advice get your current employer to extend your work permit
Apply in a year as cec that will be way faster than fsw
