PR application - spouse ECA inquiry

Need HELP please!

Me and my wife are currently residing in CANADA with OPEN WORK PERMIT. We are eligible to apply for PR. However, I have completed University education from Canada which concluded - no ECA required. But my wife had completed the University from INDIA and we did not had ECA for her.
Does IRCC require or ask to submit ECA evaluation for spouse, even if she is not primary applicant?

Please note, I will be the PRIMARY applicant and my wife will be secondary!

Hi,

If you are claiming points for your spouse educational qualification then you will need ECA for her else you can skip it.

Thank you for your response and information. So lets say if I do not Consider SPOUSE ECA and submit with "NO - I do not have ECA", still I can select my spouse highest completed degree when filling out general form for application???????

Yes you can select. But then if you select NO in ECA then you will not get points for that.
Suggestion No point in adding selecting any degree then else it may ask you to submit all docs post getting ITA
