PR application fee overpaid

Hello everyone
I overpaid my fee for right of permanent residence fee by $50. Now I am in a pickle as somebody told me that CIC will return my file because I overpaid. Can anyone please guide me on this.

Ignore the idiot that told you that. They will process your app as normal and refund you the $50 near the end of the process.

My application is already has been finalised and I have to send my resident fee for passport submission.I hope that's still ok if I submit withoverpayment.
