Been searching all weekend for answers but still a bit lost, any help would be appreciated.
- Applied with Spouse for PR in mid-August through Express Entry (CEC) and we currently live and work in Canada
- Applied for BOWP a few days later, our current work permits expired 6th Sep and we were then on Implied Status
- PR was declined for incompleteness on 7th Sep (one of our police certificates was 2 weeks out of date, rookie oversight on our part)
- Now each of our BOWP applications are still pending but I'm assuming will be declined any day now
Questions:
1. Are we still on Implied Status until the BOWP applications are declined (meaning we can still work)?
2. We have entered the pool again and are awaiting ITA. If we submit a new PR application upon invitation, and our BOWP application is still pending at that point, can we notify IRCC, and would they still consider our BOWP? Or is it possible to submit a second BOWP?
3. If BOWP declined, I'm guessing our best course of action is to stop working and apply for a restoration visa?
