PR application,BridgeOpenWorkPermit,SpousalOpenWorkPermit and Passport Expiry

Dear All,

My present scenario is,

1)Husband's closed work permit is till Dec 2013.
2)My open work permit dependent on my husband's work permit is also valid till Dec 2013.
3)Husband is eligible to apply for PR under CEC.
4)Husband passport expires in Nov,2014.

So my husband is planning to apply for a PR in August,2013 with me as co applicant

My queries are below,
1)Can we apply for work permit extension after applying for a PR?
2)Else,Are we eligible for only applying for a bridge open work permit after PR application?What will ensure that I can also keep working if my husband obtains a Bridge Open work permit.
3)About passport expiry we have no idea what to do !!?

1.You can apply for the WP if you have the lmo's and HRSDC approvals
2.not sure
3.just wait till you apply for the PR and in starting of 2014 apply for the new passports and inform the Immigration that you have done so .

Hello. My mom had already sent the requirements for travel doc to the CIC Manila so she can go here in the Philippines.
Second, our passport was already in CIC last May 8, 2013. My mom became PR last July 29,2013.
I just want to ask if the processing times for Travel Document Application and ISSUANCE OF VISA are also affected by the strike? Thanks!
