My visitor record expires in June. I don't have a surname so my full name goes in the "Family name" section. However, ircc agent or officer put my full name twice on my visitor record. It's in the family name and given name section. My previous visitor record had the same issue and i had it amended. I applied for an extension because I am applying for spousal sponsorship inland and I need to maintain my status.
I called IRCC about the mistake and they just said it's system error. It's also the same on my biometrics letter and they said you can't do anything about that. Especially because the UCI and date of birth match the passport.
My question is that do I amend my visitor record again and then apply for PR? Or should I apply for PR first and I can send my visitor record for amendment. I'm very confused and panicking about the new rules about canceling of TRVs. That what if they just cancel my visitor record instead of amending it.
Any insight would be very very appreciated. Please let me know.
