PR application and Temporary Visa processing together

Hi Guyz,

My wife was initially planning to pursue her masters and i thought of Migrating with her in Open work permit dependent Spouse. So Having got an offer letter for her Master's We are now done with documents to apply for her Student Visa and my dependent Visa.

We are through with the Medicals. Now all of a sudden on May 31st 2017, She got an ITA at CRS 413, in Express entry which is due expiry to apply before 28th of August 2017.

Now we already booked our flight tickets in August hoping to get through student and dependent Visa.

The current situation is HOW TO PRESENT OUR Student and Dependent Visa application even though we got our ITA for Canada PR.

You can tell me wait get it and go. But her courses starts from Spetember1st, hence we cant wait for the PR to come first. Hence we are planning to apply for student and dependent Visa at the first shot.

CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME ON HOW TO PROCEED FURTHER.

From what you explained, it seems wise to go on student visa and then apply from within Canada. If you apply for PR now the wait time might be longer - but the course starts in September.

One thing to keep in mind when you make your decision (I am not sure if this will apply to your program) but course fees are cheaper if you are a Permanent Resident or citizen. You can also apply for student loans when you have PR - you cannot do this if you are an international student.
