I am working in Canada since two years on a closed work permit.
I have recently got PR confirmation in early August through express entry. I have completed the flagpoling at US border.
I had submitted this application with spouse not accompanying, so just I have the PR now.
My spouse had got the open work permit in June. Will his work permit would remain valid since I have got the PR and my closed work permit would no longer be valid?
CIC did not ask for any of my documents while he submitted his application for open work permit.
Please help me in clarifying this.
