Hi Hammadi,

What is the job title stated in your work permit? It will depends on which category you will fall.

Dear it is Truck Driver

I don't think it's possible to immigrate and become a PR as a truck driver. I believe you need a higher skilled job to qualify to apply through Ontario PNP. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

So what you think if I search another job there and change my profession? Like in Accounts or Office Administration

Yes, if you manage to get a job, LMIA(from your employer) and finally permit to work in new job.
But I wonder, how visa officer will take the change of profession.

You're being scammed. Don't pay the money.

No - you won't be free to work outside of the company that hired you once you arrived. Any work permit you get will be tied to your employer and will only allow you legally work for them.

Again, if someone is asking for that much money - it's a scam. You're going to end up losing the money and having no job in Canada.

Hi

Are you currently residing in canada?. and you mean you're paying $25,000 for visa???? what kind of visa is this? or you mean "work permit"? only open work permit would allow you to work in any occupation.

you should have stayed in alberta and applied for long haul trucking industry under employer driven stream.

No, currently I am residing in Saudi Arabia, yes Visa means 2 years work permit.

Again, it's a scam. Your choice what you do.

yes it's a scam :(

How do you people say it's a scam?
What are the conditions that should be there to know if it is genuine?

We know it's a scam because they have lied to you about the conditions of your work permit and have also charged you too much money. It is illegal to charge this much money in exchange for a job in Canada. All you should have to pay is a few hundred dollars for the work permit.

You should avoid going through an agent to find a job in Canada. Too many agents are scams. Instead, you should use reputable job web sites such as the Canadian Job Bank, workopolis and monster.

Hi!

Is it allowed to change job position form cook to kitchen helper with the same employer.
I am here in alberta in close work permit.

Appreciated for the reply.
