PR after 1 Year Masters in Alberta

I am currently enrolled in 1 Years masters degree in University of Alberta.
I will get only 1 year work permit after my 1 year masters and after working for 6 months i can apply in AOP (Alberta Opportunity Stream) which will take 6 more months to process and land me into a very risky situation, as work permit will expire till then.

Should i enroll in another 1yr diploma after my Masters to be eligible for 3 years Masters ?
Can i do Diploma after my Masters degree ?
I am too confused in this kindly provide possible solution.

Take 2 years diploma because you will get 3 year work permit after that. Do not take risk. Sometime the government change the rules. And many student come back .
