PPR - Primary applicant in the USA and dependent in Canada

Hello everyone,

My wife and I received PPR on 20-JUL-2017. She is the primary applicant and currently in the USA. I'm a dependent on the PR application and I'm currently in Canada on a work permit. In the PPR email, it is mentioned to send our passports to one address for US residents and another address for Canada residents. It also says that we must send our documents together but I understand that it is a generic email.

My question is, can we send our passports separately to different CPCs? Most applicants who send their passports separately for visa stamping are either in USA/India or Canada/India.

We have already emailed CPC Ottawa but not sure whether we would getting a quick response. Has anyone else had this experience? Any helpful response is much appreciated.

I have too dropped an email to CPC ottawa but have not heard from them. It has been 5 days. Mys case is to trf the VO from ottawa to New Delhi.
