PPR- old passport

I tried browsing through the forum to look for this specific information, but couldn't find it.

So I received my PPR last night and they've requested for passport. I am an indian passport holder.

When I submitted my application, I scanned my old passport and new passport both because old passport has all the visas and travel info and new passport has literally nothing as I got it renewed a few months ago. Now the question is, should I send CIC both passports? or just the new one?

You can only sent the new passport and photocopy of the old one along with LOE. Really same my situation.
By the way, congratulation for PPR.

I called CIC and they said to only send the new passport along with the documentation they requested, which is the email and two photos.

so i was thinking of doing just that, instead of confusing them with additional documents.

If others have similar experience, please lemme know!

Yes, you are right! Mine sent new passport, two photos, copy of passport request email, copy of bio page of old passport and letter of explanation.

I was under assumption old and new passport go anywhere together since they are tied together .Good to know that we don't need to send old passport . My case is the same . Old passport has my usa visa and new one is just blank.
