First of all thank you for your help,and i m sorry about my english!
i m reaaly confused ,this is my situation :
3 years ogo, when I was a student in canada, i have been accused in criminal and aquitted by the court with condition :
1. to have a therapy ,i did finish it .
2. to dont make any trouble for 1 year, (i t was respcted).
After that, I asked the police to deleate my file and my fingerprint information, but I received a letter from the police that my file is close by the RCMP and the police (I don’t know if closed file=delete the file from their system)
Now i apply RP (my wife is sponsoring me).
In the application they ask if i was convicted to a crime in canada or in other country, i answer NO ,cause i dont have any criminal record.
MY QUESTION IS :
Do you think that during the security chec they will realise that i was acused(remember my file is close by RCMP&POLICE)?

Honestly I would say YES because technically even though your case may be closed does not take away the fact that you did intend commit a crime in Canada.

Plus you can always just explain that you were told it was closed and if you have a document to prove that then just include that. It will look good on you that you admitted that you did intend commit a crime but that it was solved and closed.

Now is not a time to lie on an application. Whenever you think they might question you for something, just include a statement to clear what ever you think they might have questions about.

I would also just wait to hear from a more experienced or senior member. They will be able to advice you with the appropriate route to take. Good luck.

i was accused (not guilty)!
but the application's question is "if i have been convicted to a crime?" /////me, i was accused not convicted .
i just answer the question .(but ,i m not sure!!!)

It will come up even if the file is closed. It is never really "deleted" from your file for reasons such as these. The good news is you were not convicted, so you might be okay depending on the crime.
