Thank you wxyz
I have travelled to many countries before submitting my docs to VO, most of them are just a few days, max 2 weeks. The only time I travelled during my Visa process was the 3 months in OZ. Do you think they will check all the immigration offices of all the countries I have visitted?
If they just check my enter and exit, it should not be long, should it?
i think they are concerned with recent visits, they already have checked your old visits before issuing PRR

Dear Friends!!

After reviewing the above situation, I would like to clear my doubts. Appreciate if you guys give your comments!!!

I have traveled to Europe for one week and One week to UK in April 2004. The visas for Europe and UK were on my old passport. My old passport was expired before the submission of Application for Canadian immigration. Nobody asked me about my visits to UK and Europe and I submitted the copy of new passport only along with application.

Now my question is, at the time of passport request will they ask for new passport only? or I have to submit my old passport as well?
please reply!!!

Regards
did you mention in your travel history you have visited europe / uk in 2004

you should if its visit for even one day. supplementary information form clearly says you should mention visits in last 10 years or since your 18th birthday. but as you have not mentioned it you don't need to send your old passport.

buddy i have no idea they can if they want to but like guide lines say you never even miss a slightest thing which you think is not related because it can cause problems later.

I have done some research now and found out that it is mandatory on some visa offices like ND office but not on the check list for London visa office - mine is London visa office - looks like that is why they did not ask

I have never seen such things as travel history, however, for countries where I spent more than 6 months, I did send them the PCC.
The Australia visa is on my old passport. This one expire soon so I had to apply for a new one and I only submitted that new one. They did not require me to submit the old passports.
And yes I submitted my child's passport along with my Passport when applying for Canada immigration (I'm a single parent). And on my child's passport, there's the OZ visa which showed his entry and exit date.

generally they also change the status of ecas to "Decision Made" after PP request. If your status is still "In process" that means that they would further require some background/security check...

LANDED..........
DONE :-)
This is a problematic issue, as Singapore VO Checklist don't require a Travel History like ND or Paris. Most of us haven't mentioned any thing about past travels. In the address part (Point 15 on Background Declaration) they just wanted address information about your residence since 18 years age. If you stay more then 6 month somewhere then u can give the address there.

So do applicant applying through Singapore VO submit Travel History just to play it safe?

No they don't. DM is shown on e-cas only after the pps r stamped. However, there could be a time lag between the stamping & the e-cas, as both r handled by different cells of CIC. I'm aware of many who had a DM much later - after landing... I'm one of them.
