Hi, I received a letter to attend my citizenship test on 23 October 2013 but was not able to attend it because I was of the country doing my studies and wrote a letter to CIC to postpone my test. I have written 3 letters since then explaining why I was not able to attend and the dates during which I can come to Canada to write a test. It's been almost a year now. I strongly intend to come back to Canada after my studies. A week ago, my uncle went for his test and explained my situation and got a response from CIC to write a letter detailing specific reasons. Do you think me going personally to the CIC office in Ottawa (where my application is processed) would in any way help me to talk to the officials and explain to them (and if given a chance, to write the test as well)? Can and how do I make an appointment?
Please help me in this matter.

You may call CIC and ask the current status of your application if your application is

abandoned by CIC than you will re apply and now a days new application moving fast

provided you have required number of days. i.e. 1095 or more....
