Postponing citizenship Oath ceremony

I already bought ticket in June to visit my family and expecting to get Oath ceremony about that time. I am wondering if you need to have valid reason to postpone ceremony or having plane ticket or just being in another country is good enough reason? Does it have top be some family emergency?

Let them know in advance via webform.
That shouldn't be a problem, apart from the delays that may come with a possible postponed oath.

You can postpone for any reaons., but with the current humongous backlog you never know when you will be scheduled again, could be years. so it will be better not to postpone it. If possible fly back for the oath ceremony.
