postpone upfront medical

The nearest panel physician is 100 miles away from where I live, and I cannot travel long distances due to medical reasons. Is CIC adamant about upfront medical exam at the time of submitting the application? I do plan to eventually take the exam when my condition improves. I am planning to write an LOE explaining my situation. Hopefully CIC won't reject my application.

Under EE, Medicals and PCC are among the first hurdles to be crossed. If you don't submit your medicals upfront, your application will be refused. Try and schedule an appointment asap. You can always choose to decline this ITA and wait for another. If your application is refused, you're unlikely to receive a refund though there is an outside chance that you might get your money back if they return your application as incomplete but try and not take that risk.
