So here is my timeline:

Applied July 2013
Test Feb 2014
RQ received late Feb 2014
RQ responded Mar 2014
Local office is Mississauga. RQ was sent to Mississauga as well.

Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to process a post-test RQ? Why is it rumored that Post-test RQs takes longer than pre-test RQs? Isn't Mississauga office faster than other local offices?

I want to leave for a job opportunity outside Canada while RQ is under way but is hesitant. I had proof that I had over 1095 days before applying. Do the judges have legal ground to deny citizenship? I will be able to retain my PR status through July 2016.

Post Test RQ's take a long time. You have to be careful that you can maintain PR residency obligation. Not sure how post test RQ in 2014 will be like, and how long it will take. Recent applications (Pre-test and normal are moving fast). But earlier applns from 2009 / 2010 are still hanging eg my appln is 41 months still pending to be reviewed (st clair). So if you do not get a answer till 2016.. you may loose your pr status unless you come back. Also incase you have CJ hearing, you will have to do some answering as to ties with canada. Check with a lawyer for the legal grounds.

I was attending university in the US and came back to study graduate school and worked. The 1095 days will not be in doubt. My absence was due to attending the last year of university, which was around 300 days. After I came back I did not travel at all becuase attending school full time and work.
