Post ITA: Spouse passeport not ready yet, can i submit now ?

I highly doubt that. All documents listed in the checklist are must and should be attached. I know that in the older fsw system, one could write a LOE and send these documents later on. I personally would refrain from doing so wait for the passport to arrive and attach it along with my application.

This, however is my personal view and one can always argue otherwise. Lets wait for some more members to advise you.

No, you can't. One of the required documents of your application is your spouse's passport. Submitting the app without it may lead to a reffusal.

If your spouse's current passport has not expired, could you attach that, and then update later when the new passport arrive? This seems to be the logical thing to do, but I may be wrong.

Yes, you can upload a new passport later, but you can't submit the application without uploading any valid passport.
