Express Entry - Permanent Residents
If you are applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile. This must:
list of all your bank (chequing and savings) and investment accounts, the account numbers, dates each account was opened and the balance of each account over the past six months,
list all outstanding debts, such as credit cards and loans,
be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution, and include your name and the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and e-mail address).

Just have a few questions about proof of funds.
1. Do I need an official letter for my chequing and savings account only or do i need one for my credit card as well? These are all separate financial companies.
2. My proof of funds is in one account but I have a separate payroll account as well so just to make sure, i need to show all of these right?
3. Lastly, if i do need to show my credit card, what document would i need to show this? Will credit card statements do or I really need to ask an official letter from them?

Thank you.

Hi All,

I'm in the same boat as this person. Anyone have an answer to #1 ?

Thanks,

Jerry

Hi,

For my applications, I went to my bank and asked for bank statement of last 3 months of all of my accounts including credit card, asked them to stamp it and than uploaded it to my EE profile, I am PR now no problem with application.
I would suggest doing same, just go to your bank ask for bank statement for last 3 months of all of your accounts, have it stamped and signed from bank and upload scanned copy of that.

Do I need to provide statements of all bank accounts I have? Or is it just from the account that you are using to show proof of funds from?

Hi

Are you showing Bank statement and credit card statement separately or just the amount cut from your account?

No, you only need bank statements from an active bank account.

Hello guys I really need some advise, my EE application will be under my name but the proof fund in form of cash is in my husband account who is included in my application so my question is how should I solve this issue as am planning to get into the pool hopefully by May so in case I get an ITA what is the best way to get around this to avoid any potential problems with cic?

Hi

Thank you for your reply.

Do I need to show Bank Statement of Joint Account with my father? An amount was also transferred to my personal account to create a Fixed Deposit under my name from that account.

If yes than I will have to show 3 Accounts,One my Salary Account,Second my personal account and Third my Joint account with my Father.Plus my Credit card Statement and bank certificate Showing my Fixed Deposit, will it be Okay to show so many different accounts? Or will it confuse them.

Should I include a LOE about the big amount in my account or about the entire situation?

Regards
