Hello there!

One of my friend got an ITA in january. He is married and is an inland applicant. He did his PG diploma in Canada. In his EE profile he declared all the work experience that he was doing during his college days for which he didn't claim points. After the getting ITA, he realized that the immigration is asking employment letters for all the work experiences he declared even though he didn't claim points for them. Now, he cannot get employment letters for his part time work he declared when he was in college here.

He wants to create another express profile. When doing that, he wants to keep the current ITA active and he will withdraw the current ITA once he receives ITA for the new EE profile.

Can someone please suggest if he can do that or should he with draw the current ITA and then create a new EE profile? Or can he just go with the current ITA and write and LOE that he declared work experience for which he didn't claim points. Will that work? If he does that, the problem what should he upload for the all work experience tabs that are created ?

Please advise !

No, he cannot and should not do that as it is against immigration law.

He should remove such experience from the work history section and add it in the personal history section - no proof of employment will be required. He can add a LOE to explain the change.

I just spoke to him and he said that he has already created a new EE profile but he did not with draw the previous profile for which he got ITA. Should he with draw the the application for which he received ITA or should he cancel the new EE profile he created and stick with the old application for which he received ITA?

If he continues with the Old application for which he received ITA, I have one question. if he removes the work experience from the work history tab, will that be okay? Will the immigration officer not check his EE profile and see that that work history tab is not matching?
Please advise!

1 - He should decline his ITA if he's going to stick with this new profile.

2 - If he keeps the ITA then he should state the change in a LOE and explain that such change does not affect his score or eligibility.

Thank you for your advise. I truly appreciate your time. I will let him know.

In regards to my application, I received ITA in December last week and gave my Medicals two days after that. When I contacted my hospital, they said that they submitted the medicals to the immigration electronically on January 6th and submitted my profile on January 8th. It's been 7 weeks but I have not seen anything in my application since then. No update regarding the medical status from the immigration. Does it take more time than 7 weeks? I am an inland applicant.

Please advise!
Once again, thanks a ton for your time.

I've seen it take 3 months for some people so yes, it is normal.

@DelPiero07

Hi I received my ITA on Feb 22 , I am a non US citizen so US FBI PCC will take me 12 - 14 weeks , I knew this so applied three weeks before. Now I got to know I need PCC for my unaccompanying spouse . I have 86 days left . What are my options ?

1)Can I ask the VO for extension as they take 12 - 14 weeks ? OR
2) I decline my ITA and wait for the next draw which will buy me time.

NOTE - Please tell me how to ask for a extension if I need to .

Sorry had to get my topic here.
