I recently got an ITA for my Express Entry submission and I need some help with the application.
Is it okay to exclude portions of my foreign work experience that cannot be proved according to the CIC criteria. This won’t change my CRS points.
The portion I’d like to exclude is my self-employed experience in the last two years and half. I’ve been trying to monetize an online business and I won’t be able to collect letters of reference for it.
I got 50 CRS points of foreign work experience (CRS – Skill Transferability – Foreign Work Experience). My work history in the last ten years, from old to most recent: employer1 for 5.5 years, employer2 for 0.5 year, and self-employed for 2.5 years. All within the same NOC.
In fact, since I already have 50 points by only using employer1, I’ve been also thinking of excluding employer2.
Another possibility is to reject the ITA, get into the pool again without my last two employment experiences and get another ITA, but this seems to be extreme.
Please help me. I would appreciate any advice you might have.
Thank you, Hell.
