Post ITA Details

This is my first post here but I am following the conversations for almost 1 year.
I just received an ITA after the last draw, now trying to prepare the documentation and everything. I run across some issues and I was not able to find a proper answer in the forum.
Can you please help?

1. In the EE profile I submitted details about the passports (passport number and expiry date). Currenty we (myself and spouse) applied for new passports as mine was going to expire in September (my spouse in 1 year). How should I proceed? Remove the old passport details from the Profile and add the new one or just add the new one as additional even if the old one is no longer valid?

2. Can I remove One Job from the Work History if I don't claim any points for it and it would not affect my score? I tried to reach this company for getting the Emplyment Letter but it looks like the company no longer exists (email not reacheable, phone not working). Is it ok if I remove it from the work history and just add it to personal history?

3. I resigned from my current job, termination date is in 1 month and half from now. Should I put a (future) termination date in the Work History? Because I plan to submit the documentation in 1 month max. Or how should I proceed?

Congrats on your ITA!

1.) Once you get your new passport, you can update the information and mention the same in LOE.

2.) Yes. As long as it does not affect your CRS score and FSW points, you can remove it. Mention in LOE though.

3.) If you will be submitting the eAPR in May and your last day of work will be in May too, then you can just mention the month. For work experience, CIC asks for MM/YYYY only.

you can probably apply with old passports, but you have to remember as soon as you get the new passports, you will need to fill and raise a CSE to get the passport changed. if you are in india, use tatkal to get passports renewed, it will take 5 -7 working days i believe, and if you are anyway going to take 30 days to submit your documents, best to have new passport.

yes. but explain this in your LoE.

mention in the LoE that you have resigned, and last working date also.
if and when you join a new job, you can raise a CSE again and inform them. however this is not mandatory... (i personally wouldnt do it)
