according to my passport expiry they gives me 2 years of post graduate work permit?

Please suggest me it would be ex tenable or not?

Hi AK84

Dont worry! Your work permit (if you are eligible for 3 years) will be issued till the expiry date of your passport BUT there will be a note on the permit that indicates you can reapply and extend your PGWP to the remainder of your term after your passport has been renewed.

I have a similar situation and thats what my PGWP says. It also says the same on my family's permits (so, if you r here with your family, you dont have to worry about them too).

When I applied for my PGWP my passport was set to expire in June 2011, and as I graduated in 2009, I would be eligible for a PGWP until 2012. When I applied for the PGWP I indicated that I knew my passport was set to expire in June 2011 and would make arrangements to visit the US Consulate in Toronto to renew my passport, blah blah blah. They ended up giving me my PGWP for the full three years with no need to renew or any note indicating I needed to renew my passport. I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you know that you need to do these things, immigration seems to be pretty flexible with it.

Probably because you are from a visa exempt country. For those from non-exempt countries, it works just as AK84 said.
