Post Gradute workpermit and SIN # about to expire

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can help me out here. I have been in Canada for 7 years now and i have a 2 year old daughter. I was on study permit and i am currently on post-graduate work permit which would be expiring in November 2013. I am currently working under a skilled profession on a 1year contract job which should be over in September 2013 and my employer might make me a permanent work after September 2013. I would have applied for PR under the CEC category but i dont have experience up-to 1 year experience under one of skilled professions. Today i sent in my PR application under the H &C ground. My questions are:

1. what are the processing time for H& C application?
2. If its more than 1 year, what would you suggest i do to keep working and to be able to remain in canada until i get a reply from CIC?
3. If my PGWP and SIN # expires before i get a reply from CIC, can i continue to work on implied status until i get a reply from CIC?
4. If my employer makes me a permanent full time employee after september 2013, by then, i know i would have acquired 1 year of full time work experience under one of the skilled professions categories can i apply for PR under CEC category because i have already applied under H &C and stilled waiting for reply?
5. If my employer makes me a permanent full time employee after September 2013, is it to late to apply for LMO in-order to apply for regular work permit while waiting for my PR reply? Also if,i can, can i continue to work after NOV2103 when my work permit would be expired while waiting to get my LMO and work permit approved?
6. If given a regular work permit, how many years would CIC give me?
7. would it be best to apply under PNP if i can or wait and apply under CEC category?
8. Whatever the case may be, i still need to apply for LMO and regular work permit if my PGWP expires and i have not gotten approval under the H & C or PNP or CEC category? or i can continue to work under implied status until any of the categories gets approved?

1. 30-42 months as on CIC Dec.21, 2012

3. No, you get implied status only when you apply before expiry date and under same condition. Means your PR appication under H&C will not grant you right to work without status.

4. You can apply as many catogery as you want as long as you pay the fee and have complete application kits. CIC will notify you to make a decision which category you want to proceed once thay starts looking into your case.

7. Depending on your province, PNP may move faster

A very hot off the press news has just been released (maybe yesterday) which it seems that for those: "who have submitted an application for permanent residence under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) or the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) may be considered for an open work permit if their current work permit is about to expire."

If i apply under the federal worker category, CEC category and or PNP category, would i be refunded the processing fees if am been contacted by CIC to picka category i would like to continue my application on or all the processing fees are non refundable? Also Maryam_d, if i read and understood correctly, if i apply for PR under those mentioned categories and my PGWP is about to expire(November 2013),all i have to do is just apply for work permit without LMO? Please explain. Thanks!

Fees are non refundable if CIC starts processing. For bridging OWP, only when your PR application is positive on principal.
