i applied for work permit on June 6 through mail but I'm still waiting for my work permit. My student visa expires on July 30 and I'm really confused about whether I can continue working even after my student visa expires ??

But on cic website it says
"On the expiry of your study permit you must stop any of the activities stated in the original study permit once the permit expires. For example, you may have come to Canada as a student and then applied for a work permit. If so, you must stop studying once your study permit expires. After that, you cannot work or study until you get a new permit"
What do you think?????
Section 186w applies which basically says if someone applies for a PGWP whilst a study permit is still valid which is a condition anyway then they can start work pending a decision on the PGWP. Thats regardless whether the study permit expires whilst waiting for the PGWP approval.
