Hello All,

I am a student currently studying in Canada, I came under a scheme in which i will get three year of work permit after completion of my Two year study program.
I have completed my two semesters and my college gave me an option, whether to take summer off for 4 months or continue my studies and do my third semester. This will help me to finish my course early. If i do my 4 semester one after one, without taking any break, my course will end in Dec'11 instead of original completion date in May'12.

My problem is that whether, i'll get three year of work permit as promised, or there will be reduction in time length of work permit as well?
Original study time in both scenario is 16 months, which i am doing, even if i finish 4 semester continuously and my convocation will be held in May'12 as per schedule, but will my finishing the course early make any difference in my work permit scheme?

My college says that i'll be getting 3 year WP, but CIC people are not sure.

Please help.

Many Thanks

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
If CIC is not sure, I don't think you should take that chance. Rather apply for an off-campus work permit and spend the summer working to get a little money in your pocket and experiencing the Canadian job market.
