Post graduation work permit pass expiry issue

Hello,

I just got my pgwp, but cic issue pgwp base on my old passport expiry date that is of just 10 month from now ,
although i already submitted new passport with expiry of 10year while i submitted application.

Please share if anyone come across same situation.

You can only one valid passport. Is your old passport cancelled? If yes, you should have not submitted it. If not, then CIC was right to give you 10 months.

I renewed my old passport, but as they need stamps and all so i submitted both old cancled passport and new passport

In that case you should contact the CIC call centre.

Did you input the passport # and validity of the new passport? Basically make sure you entered the passport info of the new passport wherever asked.
