Hello,

I have a PGWP from August 2014 till 2017

It says on my PGWP that re-entry is not guaranteed. I have a full time job and I was wondering if this means that I am not allowed to leave the country for a vacation? I thought that PGWP gives you the option to leave and come back to Canada in the period of 3 years.

I would appreciate if someone can give me more information.

Thanks
Dijana

1. This question has been answered at least 100 times.
2. All work permits say not valid for re-entry
3. If you require a visitor visa to enter Canada, then you must have a valid TRV (visitor visa) and your work permit to re-enter. If you are visa exempt, then you don't require a TRV.
4. If you require a TRV and don't have one, you can apply in Canada for a new one.
