Asking on behalf of my friend who's graduating soon: After the application is submitted (on-line), does the applicant need to be physically inside Canada until the decision is made? I.e., assuming when she comes back the TRV and study permit is still valid, can she visit home, or take a vacation outside Canada, etc?

.....If the study permit,TRV and the studies for which the permit was issued has not ended,then re-entering should not be a problem but your friend should carry all prove especially from the school.
