Well initially when i got to canada i decided to transfer to SFU university but as time passed by my courses got much harder and I started screwing things up pretty bad. I am not the brightest of all but i have a GPA well above 2.00 as time has passed by i went to the international office and asked them about graduating sooner they said i could graduate in general studies diploma. All my courses i have taken have focused mainly on the business side like accounting economics financial math marketing( quite a few of them) and so on.

When i check my graduation application date it says dipolma with no major.

No my question is how does this affect my application for post graduate work permit do i need a diploma with a specific major ? I have looked every where it does not mention that I need a diploma in a particular field in order to get my post graduate permit. I have met all the requirements of PGWP i.e. graduate with 60 credits( 2 year program) from a school participating in the PGWP program.I have got offered a Job for managerial position with a company.

Do i need a diploma with a particular major? for PGWP?

Need your input on this guys

This is what it says
Primary Degree
Diploma in General Studies
Level: Undergraduate
Program: General Studies Diploma
College: Douglas College
Major: Undeclared Major

Will they deny my application for not having a major?

Short answer- you will get your PGWP!

You don't need to major in any field to get a PGWP as long as you have completed a 2 year diploma (regardless of major) makes you eligible

Now your challenge is to find a job on the NOC list to be able to apply for PR in a future date
