Post Graduate Work Permit to Spouse open Work Permit

Hi ,

My husband is on Post Graduate Work Permit. His permit will expire on Nov 2015 and he can not extend it anymore as his 3 years are now complete. I'm currently doing a two years diploma in Canada, so he wants to apply for Spouse open work permit on the basis of my study permit. I'm confuse and just want to make sure that we are submitting the right application . So my question is we just need to apply for new work permit or we should go for extension/change of status?What type of application should we submit? Anyone please guide us . Thank you very much.

Seniors please guide . Do my husband need to apply for a new work permit? change of status ? Extension? I guess it cant be change of status as his status would still be worker . We can not extend it because the three years are now complete . So anyone please confirm should he apply for new work permit?Which form will be appropriate for our condition?

I want apply for open work permit for mine husband and I ask to provide document is just writing a letter is ok and how will I do itennary for him when I don't know how long my on work permit will be issued.
