Hello guys,

I am new here and wanted some information. I have completed my masters in Canada and would be applying for a post graduate work permit. My wife is in Canada on a open work permit since January 2016. My wife was a NOC A full time permanent job. I am currently looking for a job.

I want to apply for my wife's open work permit along with my PGWP. However, after reading some forums, I figured out that Spouse permits get rejected if the principle applicant does not have an skilled job. When I am applying for the work permit, I do not see any option where I can upload my wife's offer letter stating she's having a skilled job.

It would be great if someone can reply back to me as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance

You have to have a job in skill level 0, A or B. it doesn't matter what job your wife has as her permit is dependent on yours
