Has anyone recently used post doc as the job offer under CEC? My husband has one year post doc experience in Canada. Any recommendations?

It will only count as a job offer for 50 point once he has worked for the employer for a full year and if the employer is willing to give him a letter stating they will continue to employ him for at least one year after he becomes a PR. This is assuming the post doc role is LMIA exempt.

Thanks for your reply. My husband has completed one year under the same employer. His employer is also willing to give a further letter for employment but on one condition, that is if he gets his PR in 2021 than she may extend his employment till 2022, not further than that. Will this condition in the employment letter work?

IRCC may accept that or they may not. The letter isn't supposed to have conditions. However you can certainly try.
