Post AOR TRV application

I have PGWP till April, 2019. Unfortunately when I applied for TRV last year instead of giving me 3 years TRV, CIC issued only one year TRV. Now I have applied under PR EE on 24 Oct , 2016 (My timeline is on my signature). Six months have passed still no sign of a decision. MY GCMS notes indicate I have passed Eligibility, Criminality and Medical on January 28. The security was blank. In this situation I am not sure when I will get a decision. I have applied for another GCMS notes which I will get on May 1st.
My TRV will expire on June this year and I want to visit my country on June. In this situation is this a good idea to apply for TRV?

I am not entirely sure but you should be okay. You are almost getting your PR, I am not sure If they will issue both together.

I had a friend with different case with work permit. He got his work permit extension just two days before passport request.
