POST 26TH JUNE: MEDICAL AND PP SUBMISSION DURING MARCH 2011

Surely even i had planned to land by mid july in toronto. I have to seek admission for my children in schools there as schools start in August. Now i dont know what to do.

Does any one has information about education system of Canada ? I mean if the new term starts in September and if we land one month after, say in October, then do Canadian government give admission to our kids or they give admission in the next term only? Pl. share ur knowledge which will help me n other members also.

That is part of the worry and the other thing is that i am not able to concentrate well enough here as i cannot make any commitments as far as my work is concerned. Need a final decision soon so that i can plan ahead.

Very True always+ve. It seems like our life has come to standstill n v r in between the sea n don't know which way to move. :-\

Schools in Canada have to take in children of landed immigrants through out the year, irrespective of when they land. The DOB of the child decides (mostly) as to what grade the child will be admitted into. For more info pls. see Qorax's thread here:

Agree with you on that.... Never ever have I seen a single post on this forum from Qorax, ridiculing or criticizing anybody or for that matter getting into an argument.

With all wishes to Bhavikpatel, a dec,31,2010 applicant got visa. aug,sep applicant still viewing ecase status like
criminals waiting for the judgment. No real charm now if i get it , all the enthusiasm vanished.

Same here. We r all having a similar set of feelings for a lot of things. I feel NDVO has got us all a step closer. If we happen to goto Canada(I hv lost all hopes) we should form our friendship group. We will bond very well.
