hey all seniors and brothers i hope so you all will be doing good.i have a question that is poking me quite frequently ...
plz i need guidence from all seniors.
i got visa for one year Mengg Electrical engineering in Canada University of windsor this fall semester.i arrived here in canada and now m taking my classes but by chance in met one consultant here and he strongly discourage me,he said that you are here for useless degree you wont be able to get PR after one year.he gave me two solutions for that
1.cancel your admission and take addmission in some other university.
but i cant do that coz they wont return my fee as well as it will waste my time as well.
2.tranfer credit after one semester to other universities like regina concordia
that too would take time and i dont know whther it can be transferred or not.

so plz brothers do guide me.what should i do now?

y he wants you to transfer to other university? MEng is mostly of 2 yrs. but it depends on ones on choice whether he/she finishes in a yr or 2. check with ur uni and if it is 2 yrs (officially) then i think will not have any prob

hey brother..
I am also going to university of windsor for jan in mtech electrical and computer engg. As far as my knowledge, you can complete your course in minimum 12 months and maximum 20 months .But generally ,if a person complete its course in 16 months then he gets 3 yr work permit.And also Ontario has a PNP program with which students who had done Mtech degree can easily get PR.
Anyone Else, Please correct me If am wrong anywhere.
